Meet the incredible and dedicated therapists that make up the Treehouse Speech and Rehabilitation family….

 


 
Megan,  MA, CCC-SLP

Megan received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University in 2010.  Megan received a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology  in 2012 from The George Washington University in DC.  Megan has been with Treehouse since 2016 and is the Clinical Director for OT and ST services.  She has a particular interest and experience working with pediatric clients with speech, language, and cognitive disorders, as well as children with autism and apraxia of speech.  Her training includes PROMPT and the SOS feeding approach.  Megan has experience working with children of all ages in home, daycare, school and private practice settings.  When not at Treehouse, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, (especially hockey!) playing with her dog and cat, and reading.

 

Marcia, OTR/L

Marcia came to Treehouse in 2017 and brought many decades of experience working in Early Intervention, Home Health, and Skilled Nursing.  She  is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, caring, and an amazing therapist with a heart for our littlest kiddos.  Marcia works with feeding difficulties and has been trained in the SOS feeding approach. 

 

 


 

Matthew, COTA/L

Matt studied to be a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) at Penn State in DuBois- graduating in 2013; and has been with Treehouse since 2018. Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and son, shooting sports, playing and coaching high school soccer, and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and West Virginia Mountaineers.

 


 

Danielle, COTA/L

Danielle is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and has been with the Treehouse family since January 2019. She has over a decade of COTA/L experience, working in both the Pediatric and Geriatric fields. Danielle graduated from New Castle High School and after, attended the Kaplan Career Institute. She is passionate about her job and loves to make her therapy sessions fun, while helping her kids achieve their goals. 

 

 

Megan, OTR/L

Megan attended Saint Francis University, where she graduated with her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2014.  She has been working with the population since that time in the outpatient, home, and school settings.  Megan has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses in this population.  Her training includes the SOS Approach to Feeding, Handwriting Without Tears, the Alert program, Interactive Metronome, and Brain and Sensory Foundations (reflex integration).  Megan was also able to participate in a pilot grant program incorporating occupational therapy and sensory integration into treatment for complex trauma.  In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading and being crafty!

 

 

Cassidy,  MS, CCC-SLP
Cassidy received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders for Speech-Language Pathology at the California University of PA.  Additionally, she completed a minor in Spanish in her undergraduate program.  Cassidy received her Master of Science degree in 2020.  Since graduating, her experience has consisted of pediatric and adolescent cases.  She always had a passion for speech and language treatment in the pediatric setting.  Cassidy enjoys working with a variety of disorders and delays consisting of articulation, phonology, fluency, cognition, feeding, and swallowing as well as Autism and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.  HER goal is to make therapy as fun and productive as possible in order for clients to reach THEIR goals!  Cassidy can’t wait to begin working with your child at Treehouse to help him/her communicate more easily!  

 

 

Kelly, OTR/L

Kelly received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from Gannon University in 2018. Since graduating, Kelly has worked with a variety of diagnoses in both school and outpatient settings. She is passionate about using fun and functional activities in her treatment sessions to provide the most positive therapy experience possible!  Kelly has completed SOS training and helps lead our Feeding program at Treehouse.  When not at work, Kelly enjoys reading, traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with friends and families!

 

 

Morgan, MS, CCC-SLP

Morgan received her undergraduate and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She graduated in August 2020 and completed her clinical fellow year to earn her full license in the state of Pennsylvania and her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. She has a passion for working with the pediatric population and helping families and children work toward reaching their goals. In her free time, Morgan enjoys reading, being with friends and family, and outdoor activities. Morgan creates a positive and fun learning environment where even small milestones are celebrated!

 

 

Jerianne,  MS, CCC-SLP
Jerianne is a graduate of Clarion University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2021.  Jerianne has a passion for working with children and enjoys the fun and creative methods used to help them reach their speech and language goals.  In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing guitar, and being with her friends and family.

 

 

Sophia, COTA/L

Sophia is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who received her degree from Penn State Shenango.  Her passion for OT started when she was just 6 years old and she received Occupational Therapy services. Sophia’s goal is to make you child’s OT interventions both fun and therapeutic while helping them achieve their goals. When she’s not at work she enjoys, exploring, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and her golden doodle Raine. 

 

 

Megan OTD, OTR/L

Megan is an occupational therapist and has been with Treehouse since August 2022. She graduated with her Doctor of Occupational Therapy Degree in 2022 from Slippery Rock University, and her Clinical Exercise Science degree from Seton Hill University in 2019. She has a passion for helping kids of all ages to achieve their goals in the most fun and positive way possible. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities and being with friends and family!

 

 

Hannah, COTA/L

Hannah is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who received her degree from Penn State Shenango in 2018. She has experience working with both the geriatric and pediatric populations. When She’s not working, she’s spending all of her time with her sweet baby boy! Hannah is looking forward to helping your child have fun while they reach their occupational therapy goals!

 

 

 Dawn, CCC-SLP

Dawn received her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Geneva College in 2021 and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022 from Thiel College. She is passionate about helping children achieve their speech and language goals through play, fun games and creative activities. In her free time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband and cat, playing video games, watching Netflix, and reading!

 

 

Alyssa, CF-SLP

Alyssa received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Duquesne University. She received her Masters Degree in August 2023.   Alyssa has a passion for working with children and helping them reach their speech and language goals. She has always loved working with those who have Childhood Apraxia of Speech and her goal is to always make therapy fun and make kids smile. In her spare time, she likes to go shopping and play her trumpet and guitar!

 

 

Alexis, OTR/L

Alexis is a graduate of Slippery Rock’s Occupational Therapy program in 2023.  She has passion for working with older adults as well as pediatrics. She spent her last semester at SRU working with a wide range of populations participating in equine assisted interventions and therapeutic riding. She is excited to join the Treehouse team and help kids achieve their goals! 

 

 

Amelia, CF-SLP

Amelia received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Thiel College in 2020 and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Pennsylvania Western University Clarion Campus in 2023.   Amelia’s passion is working with children and enjoys finding creative ways to improve their speech and language.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to trivia night, playing board games, and hanging out with her dog Bruno!

 

 

Jen, CCC-SLP

Jen received her Master’s degree in in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Kentucky University in 2018. She completed her leveling coursework at the University of Alaska at Anchorage and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Since graduating, Jen has worked with ages birth to 21 in the outpatient and school settings. She has worked with students in Head Start, an autism school, and a specialized school program. Jen earned an ACE Award for Continuing Education from ASHA in January 2022. She has completed extensive coursework related to autism, feeding disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She has gained experience working with AAC in her recent positions. She enjoys all areas of speech therapy including fluency and pragmatic language. Jen also has a son with Autism and ADHD who is a freshman computer science major at West Virginia University. Prior to her career in speech pathology, which was inspired by her son’s journey, Jen earned a BA in Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington and worked as a newspaper reporter, editor, and in public relations. In addition to spending time with her son and fourth-grade daughter, she coaches Special Olympics swimming, competes in YMCA Masters Swimming, trains for triathlons, hikes, volunteering at Church, and enjoys gluten-free cooking. Jen especially loves seeing the kids she works with meet their goals and feel like successful communicators whether they are able to be understood by Siri or Alexa for the first time, make a new friend, or request effectively. Jen advocates for learning through play and is looking forward to creating unique experiences for gaining new skills at Treehouse.
